That spirit was on full display at our recent team-building basketball event, held at the Gumu Sports Complex in Longgang, Shenzhen. From custom-designed uniforms to intense shooting drills and team matchups, this wasn't just a day off the clock – it was a full-on fusion of sport, community, and that fierce Muay Thai mindset we carry into everything we do.

Uniforms With Attitude: Fighting Style Meets Court Style

Each player stepped onto the court dressed not just to play, but to represent. The women wore sharp, form-fitting sleeveless white basketball dresses with bold thorn stripes, front-printed with "MUAY THAI" and our RISEPECT logo. On the back, each jersey proudly displayed the player's chosen name and number – a nod to personal flair within team unity.

The men matched the energy with sleeveless jerseys in the same thorned stripe design, paired with relaxed-fit black shorts featuring white trim and graphic accents. The design wasn't just eye-catching – it was engineered for performance, blending comfort, movement, and the street-to-sport edge that RISE is known for.

This wasn't just a casual shootaround – it was full-on competition with real stakes and a lot of heart.

Solo Shooting Challenge: Skill Meets Strategy

First up: the individual shooting contest. Each participant got 10 shots. But here's the twist – women could shoot from anywhere on the court, while men had to take their shots from within the small arc just inside the three-point line. Fair? Definitely. Easy? Not even close.

Every shot made counted toward the final score. And when the dust settled, the top four scorers earned not only respect, but prizes that added a little lottery-style thrill to the victory:

Then came the main event: the 3-team group tournament. Each squad had six players (3 men, 3 women), except for one team that rotated to five due to an uneven number. Every game was a full-court battle – fast-paced, full of sweat, hustle, and unrelenting energy. Two teams faced off at a time in elimination-style rounds until we crowned our champions.

Whether diving for loose balls or setting up clean assists, each group brought their A-game. The reward? Win or lose, everyone walked away with a prize – because at RISE, we value effort just as much as outcome.
